WSDOT says that the road is closed in both directions near the Shuksan DOT shed due to icy road conditions.
Increased rainfall over the next few days will likely make ice removal a significant challenge for crews along the road leading up to the Mt. Baker Ski Area.
There is no ETA for the section of road’s reopening.
