BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Last night kicked off five nights of protests in Bellingham.

Protesters are asking for justice for Breonna Taylor, who was fatally shot by Louisville police officers in March.

A flyer circling social media says there was an event Wednesday at City Hall and four more protests are planned each night through Sunday.

The protest Thursday night will be held at the police station on Railroad Avenue, then it’s back to City Hall Friday, at the jail Saturday and at the intersection of Holly and Railroad in downtown Bellingham on Sunday.
