BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Another downtown Bellingham business is shutting its doors for good.

The owner of the Bellingham Antique Mall announced on social media that they’re closing the store later this month.

The business has been operating on Railroad Avenue near the intersection of Holly Street for more than seven years.

The owner did not give a specific reason for the closure but noted that finances played a factor in the decision. An employee for the store tells My Bellingham Now that many people stop in just to window shop and ultimately don’t buy anything.

The store’s official last day has not been announced yet.

The announcement follows the recent closure of the nearby Woods Coffee, as the city explores options to address growing commercial vacancies downtown.
