BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man was arrested after threatening to harm Bellingham Police officers.

Bellingham Police spokesperson Megan Peters says that the officers were called to a home in the Roosevelt neighborhood around noon on Sunday, Oct. 6.

The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Mikel Anderson, pulled out a knife and made threats to kill the responding officers before running from the area. Officers later took him into custody a few blocks away.
