Bellingham Police ask for help finding missing vulnerable adult

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Police are asking for help locating a missing vulnerable adult in Bellingham.

According to surveillance video, 79-year-old James McCaleb left home on Saturday, July 25 around noon and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

His disappearance is considered highly unusual, as he has missed several rounds of medication for serious medical conditions.

McCaleb is described as 5’8″ with gray and white hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and sweatpants and a Navy Veterans baseball cap.

The Bellingham Police Department adds that McCaleb walks everywhere and is often seen on Cornwall Avenue anywhere from downtown to Bellingham High School.

Anyone with information on McCaleb’s location is asked to call 911.
