City of Bellingham opens entries for 20th annual “Essence of Bellingham Photo Competition”

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Do you think you can capture Bellingham’s spirit in a snapshot?

Registration just opened for the City of Bellingham’s 20th annual Essence of Bellingham Photo Competition.

The entries will be judged on how well the photo captures the city’s “essence,” as well as the quality of its lighting, color, composition and other factors.

Winners will be selected in several categories, including Best of Show, Best of Class, Best of Category and Honorable Mention.

All entries will be displayed in the Whatcom Museum’s photo archives and winners could also appear in various city publications.

Entries are being accepted free of charge now through Oct. 1.
