SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two Disaster Recovery Centers open April 29th in Burlington and Hamilton to help people hit by December’s flooding apply for federal, state and local recovery assistance.

Residents can get face-to-face help from FEMA, the Small Business Administration, Washington state agencies and local non-profits.

The centers follow President Trump’s major disaster declaration for the December 2025 storm, which unlocked recovery funds for Skagit, Whatcom and other counties.

The centers will be open at the Parks and Recreation building on East Fairhaven in Burlington, and at the Hamilton Town Hall on Maple Street.

Hours for both locations are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
