WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Fire crews are responding to three separate wildfires in the North Cascades.

The National Parks Service says that all three were likely sparked by a lightning storm that moved through the mountains earlier this week.

The largest of the three, named the Perry Fire, has burnt about 50 acres on the west side of Ross Lake near the Little Beaver Campground.

Trails and camps near the fire have been closed as crews work to contain the blaze.

Other reported fires include the Thunder and Big Beaver Fires, which have burnt about two acres in rural Skagit County.
