The former site of Homeskillet and now-vacated Homeschool BBQ on Kentucky Street./Emma Toscani

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The site of two iconic Bellingham culinary institutions is officially on the market.

The Kentucky Street property that housed both HomeSkillet and Homeschool BBQ was listed for sale Thursday, Aug. 20.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that Homeschool BBQ closed in April after opening in 2023.

HomeSkillet was a Sunnyland comfort food hot spot for a decade before handing the keys over to Homeschool.

John L. Scott Real Estate describes the property as a rare piece of Bellingham and Sunnyland history.

Built in 1950, the asking price for the building is currently set at $750,000.
