LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Nighttime closures are planned in the near future for roadwork in Lynden.

WSDOT says they’ll be closing both directions of E Badger Road (Highway 546) in different sections beginning on Sunday night, Sept. 13. Crews will be grinding and repaving a 4.5 mile stretch of the road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday morning.

On Sunday, Highway 546 will shut down between Van Buren Road and Highway 9.

Monday and Tuesday nights will both focus on E Badger Road between Northwood Road and Trapline Road.

And Wednesday’s work will be done between Trapline Road and Van Buren Road.

Residents living in the impacted areas will still be able to access their properties. All freight traffic is asked to use Highway 9 until the work is complete.
