Peoples Bank announces Great Peoples Bank Pig Search

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Hundreds of chances to score free money are about to pop up across Washington state.

Peoples Bank announced that the Great Peoples Bank Pig Search is beginning on Friday, Aug. 29.

500 piggy banks, each containing $10 in cash, will be hidden around the bank’s 23 branch locations around the state.

Peoples Bank has nine branches in Whatcom County, with four in Bellingham, three in Lynden and one in Ferndale and Everson.

Scavengers can check the Peoples Bank Instagram account for occasional hints on where the piggies might be found.

The bank is also hosting a $1,000 giveaway for one lucky person who enters its online contest, whether they find a piggy bank or not.

Anyone can participate in the event, regardless of whether they’re a customer at Peoples Bank or not.
