WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is warning online shoppers to be wary of porch pirates this holiday season.

In a social media post, they’re asking for the public’s help identifying a suspected thief who stole a package from a home on Cain Lake Road early Sunday.

The person in the photo appears to be a white woman with long brown hair, last seen wearing a black tank top and grey pants.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office tip line.

WCSO is advising residents to consider having their packages held at the post office, or to request a signature for any deliveries.
