WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The community is once again being tasked with finding the best taco in Whatcom County.

United Way of Whatcom County is hosting its third annual Tastiest Taco Competition this fall.

Participants can buy a $30 booklet that will get them one free taco at each of the eight restaurants taking part in the event.

Those spots include Black Sheep, Bordertown Mexican Grill, El Agave in Fairhaven, Lilia’s Mexican Cuisine and many other local favorites that have each chosen a specific taco to present to tasters.

After trying each of the tacos, participants will vote on their favorite and help crown the winner.

All proceeds will benefit United Way’s Community Impact Fund, which supports residents that are experiencing financial hardship.

Books are on sale now and the taco tour runs from Sept. 30 through Oct. 28.
