BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two Fairhaven businesses are closing their doors in the coming days.

The Crooked Spoon, formerly ACME Ice Cream, announced their planned closure after Sunday, Jan. 25 on social media.

According to the business, the building on Harris Avenue they reside in has been sold.

The ice cream company will continue to sell products in grocery stores in the local region despite the brick-and-mortar closure.

Further west, Magdalena’s Creperie and Bistro is also closing their doors soon.

The owner Magdalena Thiesen says the Polish-style bistro spot will continue to have monthly pierogi-making classes until the business plans to close on Sept. 7, 2026.
