WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – There’s a handful of upcoming events to help with the water adjudication process.

Whatcom County Public Works has scheduled three office hours sessions in April at local library branches to help people with their claim forms.

Representatives from the Washington State Department of Ecology, Whatcom County Public Works and Geotech Consultants will be on hand. They’ll walk people through the adjudication process and claim form, while answering any questions along the way.

The next session takes place at the Deming Library on Saturday, April 11, and anyone interested is advised to call the library to make an appointment. There will also be two more later this month in Blaine on April 16 and Ferndale on April 22.

The sessions are by individual appointment only. Residents are encouraged to call (360) 778-6314 with any questions.

It comes as the deadline to submit adjudication paperwork was recently extended to June 1, 2027.
