WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Local officials are issuing another public health alert over potentially contaminated ready-to-eat meals.

Whatcom County Health and Community Services say the riced cauliflower found in Blue Apron and Marley Spoon products may be contaminated with Listeria.

The affected products include the 13 oz packages of Blue Apron’s Cheesy Chicken Mac with Vegetables and 10.5 oz packages of Mary Spoon’s BBQ Sauce Beef Meatballs with Cheesy Cauliflower.

There is no recall in effect because the products are no longer being sold.

The health department adds that there haven’t been any confirmed reports of illnesses caused by the products.

Eating an item contaminated with listeria can pose serious health risks, including death.

Anyone who may have the affected products in their fridge or freezer should throw it away or return it to where they bought it.
