BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Paving work is closing portions of I-5 in Bellingham over the next two nights.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) says northbound I-5 will fully close from Sunset Drive to Meridian Street between 10:00 p.m. tonight and 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
After that, southbound I-5 will fully close between Northwest Avenue and Meridian Street during the same hours on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Signed detours will be in place during both closures.
WSDOT is advising drivers to plan for delays using alternative routes.
